This is my third completed piece for
Senior Project. It is a cast bronze neck piece with a kiss-lock clasp in the front. There are scattered sterling silver cast lilac flowers attached to the pieces.
The title of the piece, Syringa, comes from the genus name for the lilac plant.
My collection focuses
on capturing memories of my grandmother’s garden and incorporates
floral elements and scroll-work designs through the use of traditional
metalsmithing techniques.
